Manner of representation

The President represents the volunteer fire brigade externally and directs the entirety of the work of the management board. In the event of the President’s absence, the volunteer fire brigade is represented by the Vice-President-Chief. Documentation related to the current operations of the volunteer fire brigade is signed on behalf of the volunteer fire brigade by the President or the Vice-President-Chief. Decisions concerning the acquisition, disposal and encumbrance of the property of the volunteer fire brigade are made by the General Meeting of the Members of the volunteer fire brigade. To enter into contracts, grant powers of attorney and make other declarations of will, in particular in property matters, the signatures of two members of the management board acting jointly are required, including the signature of the President or the Vice-President.
