Manner of representation

The President represents the volunteer fire brigade externally and directs all the work of the management board. Meetings of the management board are held at least once every two months and are convened by the President. The validity of resolutions requires the presence of at least 1/2 of the total number of members of the management board. Resolutions of the management board are usually adopted by a majority of votes. In the event of an equal number of votes, the chairperson of the meeting has the casting vote. Agreements, deeds, powers of attorney and financial documents are signed on behalf of the volunteer fire brigade by the President, or by the Vice-President together with the treasurer.
