Manner of representation

The society is represented externally by the Chairperson of the management board, and in his absence by another member of the management board or council authorized by the management board. 1. Declarations of will on behalf of the society concerning the administration of property, as well as in other statutory matters of the society, are made by two members of the management board or by one member of that management board and a person authorized on the basis of a power of attorney (attorney-in-fact). 2. The society’s management board may authorize its Chairperson to make declarations of will independently in matters concerning the conduct of the society’s day-to-day activities. 3. If a legal transaction exceeding the scope of the society’s day-to-day activities may result in the creation of monetary obligations, its effectiveness requires the consent of the person responsible for the society’s finances, and in the event of that person’s absence or refusal, a resolution of the management board.
