Manner of representation

1. The President represents the volunteer fire brigade externally and directs the work of the management board. 2. In justified cases, the President authorises another person to represent the volunteer fire brigade externally in a given matter, excluding the activities referred to in § 36. 3. In the absence of the President, his duties, including directing the work of the management board, are performed by the Vice-President. 4. Agreements, instruments, powers of attorney and financial documents are signed on behalf of the volunteer fire brigade by the President or Vice-President and the treasurer.
