Towarzystwo Ochrony Zabytków Kolejnictwa i Organizacji Skansenów Pyskowice has worked since 1998 to save historic railway stock, buildings, infrastructure, and other items connected with railway history. In Pyskowice, it is creating a railway open-air museum on the site of a former wagon and locomotive depot near the station. Its collection already includes more than 60 exhibits, such as steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, passenger and freight cars, auxiliary stock, and a pre-war electric multiple unit.
