Overview
Chór Archikatedry Warszawskiej was founded in 1983 on the initiative of Poland’s Primate, Cardinal Józef Glemp, and operates at the Archcathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw. The ensemble is made up of amateur musicians from different professions. It has released 12 albums of religious music, including Polish carols that were awarded double platinum in 2000.

The activities of the management board include: representing the society externally; documents of the management board serving to represent the management board externally are signed by the President; in matters not exceeding the scope of the society’s ordinary activities, the President of the Management Board or the treasurer is independently authorised to make declarations of will on behalf of the society, including in property matters, whereas in matters exceeding the scope of the society’s ordinary activities, the President of the Management Board and the treasurer acting jointly are authorised to make declarations of will on behalf of the society. A matter exceeding the scope of the society’s ordinary activities is deemed to be one whose value exceeds PLN 5,000.
