Overview
Związek Kombatantów Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej i Byłych Więźniów Politycznych is a multi-community veterans’ organization bringing together Polish citizens who fought for Poland’s freedom, sovereignty and independence in the Polish Army, Allied armies and resistance organizations, as well as former prisoners of German concentration camps and Stalinist gulags. At its IX Extraordinary Congress in Murowana Goślina in October 2025, the association adopted a new statute to improve its organizational structures and equalize members’ rights and obligations.

Manner of representation
The activities of the Main Management Board, in addition to the authorisations specified in § 28, include representing the union externally. The Main Management Board designates persons authorised to sign the union’s property obligations. For agreements, powers of attorney, declarations and other documents entailing monetary obligations of the union to be valid, the signatures of two authorised members of the Main Management Board and the Chief Accountant are required. Changes in the union’s fixed assets require a resolution of the Main Management Board.
