Manner of representation

1. The acquisition, disposal and encumbrance of assets, as well as the conclusion of agreements and the making of declarations of will in the matters referred to in § 40, fall within the authority of the management boards of the authorized units, on behalf of which the President, Vice-Presidents, Secretary and Treasurer authorized by the management board act. 2. In the matters referred to in paragraph 1, subject to paragraph 3, declarations of will on behalf of the management board are made jointly by two persons from among those listed in paragraph 1. 3. A resolution of the management board is required for the disposal, acquisition and encumbrance of assets. 4. For signing agreements, powers of attorney, liabilities and legal instruments on behalf of management boards other than those listed in paragraph 1, the provisions of paragraph 2 apply accordingly.
