Manner of representation

The President represents the volunteer fire brigade externally and directs the work of its management board. Contracts, deeds, powers of attorney and financial documents are signed on behalf of the volunteer fire brigade by the President, or by the Vice-President together with the treasurer. In contracts between the volunteer fire brigade and a member of its management board, and in disputes with such member, the volunteer fire brigade is represented by a member of the audit committee designated in a resolution of that committee, or by an attorney-in-fact appointed by a resolution of the general meeting of members.
