Hinnerup District Heating – 12MW Straw-Fired Boiler Plant by Runarsson

The summer of 2017, Runarsson A/S was contacted by the main contractor for Hinnerup District Heating 12Mw straw-fired boiler plant. Their primary subcontractor had gone bankrupt. So the project was at a standstill. Many parts had been delivered, but there was a lot missing and montering was not near completion. Runarsson A/S become the main partner to finalize the plant. This was the start of a long-term collaboration with Hinnerup District Heating. That is still ongoing.

Ringsted District Heating Plant 14MW Straw-Fired Plant by Runarsson

Runarsson A/S delivered a 12+2MW plant for Ringsted Forsyning’s heating plant in Benløse. The plant is engineered with 20% overcapacity, enabling a total output exceeding 14MW. As with previous projects, Runarsson A/S was responsible for the core components, including the complete feeding system with bale shredder, grate and boiler, flue gas cleaning system, ash handling system, and all supporting structures such as access routes and galleries.
