RegiosAssociation
Overview
The REGIOS association brings together regionalists and activists focused on civic regionalism, decentralization and stronger regions. It runs projects and materials on European, multicultural and virtual e-regions, rule of law and democracy, and it also organizes the REGIOS election compass and other public initiatives. It is based in Katowice and has regional branches in Silesia, Lesser Poland, Pomerania, Opole Silesia and Warsaw.

Manner of representation
The President of the Management Board, Vice-President of the Management Board, Secretary and treasurer are independently authorised to submit declarations of will on behalf of the association with respect to property rights and obligations. By way of a resolution, the management board may authorise a member of the association’s management board to independently submit declarations of will on behalf of the association, specifying in the authorisation the scope of the rights and obligations, in particular authorising that member to open, operate and close bank accounts. Members of the management board who are heads of branches are authorised to represent the association in matters related to the operation of their branch, excluding the possibility of incurring property obligations. The independent incurring of property obligations by a member of the management board is possible exclusively on the terms described in § 30. Members of the management board are obliged to inform the association’s management board of exercising the authority to represent the association.
