Manner of representation

The Chairperson of the union represents the union in internal and external contacts. The Presidium of the union represents the union vis-à-vis the employer, state administrative authorities, economic administration authorities, local government authorities, as well as other organizations and institutions. The Presidium of the union may authorize one member of that body to make the declarations referred to in §21(2) of the Articles of Association. The following are authorized to incur property (financial) liabilities: the Chairperson of the union or the Deputy Chairperson, acting jointly with another member of the management board; the joint action of two persons is required in this respect.
