Manner of representation

The duties and competences of the management board include representing the association externally. Declarations of will on behalf of the association are made by the President of the Management Board. In exceptional situations, the management board may authorize another member of the association to make declarations of will as well. In matters not requiring the making of a declaration of will, particularly in the case of making statements of knowledge, the President of the Management Board makes statements on behalf of the association, and, within the scope specified by the management board, the remaining members of the management board do so as well. In exceptional situations, the management board may authorize another member of the association to do so as well. In the case of declarations of will concerning property matters of particular significance to the activities of the association, especially those imposing special obligations on the association, the prior consent of the management board expressed in a resolution is required.
