Manner of representation

1. For the validity of declarations of will, letters and documents concerning the foundation’s property rights and obligations, the signature of the President of the foundation and one member of the foundation’s management board is required, subject to paragraphs 2–5. 2. The President of the foundation may perform the activities referred to in paragraph 1 independently if the foundation has a one-person management board or if the multi-member management board of the foundation or the foundation council authorises the President of the foundation to undertake these activities. 3. The management board of the foundation may appoint attorneys-in-fact to handle the foundation’s affairs, specifying the scope of the power of attorney. 4. For the validity of declarations of will, letters and documents other than those indicated in paragraph 1, the foundation is represented by the President of the foundation or a person authorised by the President. 5. The President of the foundation exercises the rights and duties of an employer, commissioning party or recipient in relation to employees, contractors or volunteers within the meaning of labour law, civil law and the provisions on public benefit activity and volunteering.
