Manner of representation
In the case of a one-person management board, the foundation is represented independently by the President of the Management Board. In the case of a multi-member management board, declarations of will on behalf of the foundation are made by the President of the Management Board independently, or by two members of the management board acting jointly. If a Vice-President of the Management Board has been appointed, the Vice-President of the Management Board may represent the foundation jointly with one member of the management board. The management board may appoint attorneys-in-fact to conduct specified matters. The granting of a power of attorney requires a resolution of the management board.
