Manner of representation

§ 42. 1. The association is represented externally by the President of the Main Management Board or the Vice-President of the Main Management Board of the association. 2. The association's letters and documents are valid and binding externally if they are signed: – within the scope of the competences of the Main Management Board reserved in § 33, by the President of the Main Management Board and the Secretary, and in their absence by their deputies; – in all other matters, by the President of the Main Management Board or the Director of the association. § 43. 1. Cheques and payment orders are signed by the President of the Main Management Board or the Director of the association, or by persons authorised by them. They are valid only if, in addition to the signature, they bear the association's seal. 2. Bills of exchange require the signatures of two persons jointly: – the President and the Secretary of the Main Management Board or their deputies, or – the Director of the association and the President or Vice-President of the Main Management Board. § 32(3): Financial obligations or instructions are signed by the President or the Vice-President together with one member of the management board.
