Finnlines implements Green Lane low-carbon shipping solution with Stora Enso

Stora Enso and Finnlines have expanded their cooperation to support the decarbonisation of logistics for packaging board and wood-based products and reduce transport-related emissions across European supply chains. As part of the collaboration, Stora Enso will utilise Finnlines' Green Lane service for the sea transportation of its products.

Passenger numbers on picnic cruises increase by 23% during Finnlines’ summer season

Demand for short leisure trips increased during the summer season at Finnlines, a freight and passenger shipping company. Passenger numbers on day-long picnic cruises on the Naantali–Långnäs route rose by 23% compared with the previous summer. Finnsirius, which celebrates three years in service this September, has already carried more than 638,000 passengers and professional drivers.
