Sea and coastal freight water transport (PKD 50.20.Z)
This subclass includes:
- transport of goods on the high seas and coastal waters,
- towing and pushing of barges, drilling platforms and the like,
- hiring of sea and coastal water transport equipment for goods, with crew,
- ferry transport of vehicles without supervision.
This subclass excludes:
- ferry transport of passengers with or without a vehicle, classified in 50.10.Z,
- warehousing of goods, classified in 52.10.A, 52.10.B,
- port operations and other auxiliary activities (for example docking, piloting, lighterage, ship salvage), classified in 52.22.A, 52.22.B,
- cargo handling in seaports, classified in 52.24.A,
- rental of freight water transport equipment without crew, classified in 77.34.Z.
