Manner of representation

1. The following are authorised to submit declarations of will and sign, on behalf of the foundation, obligations of a property and non-property nature: a) the President acting independently, or b) two members of the management board acting jointly. 2. If the foundation has a one-person management board, the President represents the foundation independently. 3. When entering into agreements between the foundation and the President, the foundation is represented by the Vice-President acting independently, if appointed. 4. If the management board does not include a Vice-President or is a one-person management board, the foundation is represented by the Foundation Council. 5. The provisions of paragraphs 3 and 4 apply in particular to: a) employment contracts, b) civil-law contracts, including contracts of mandate, contracts for specific work or management contracts, c) agreements concerning the remuneration, benefits or liability of the President. 6. The agreements referred to in paragraphs 3 and 4 shall be signed by the Chairperson of the Foundation Council or another member of the Foundation Council authorised by a resolution of the Council.
