Dr Cecilia Zsögön represents APS at the Latin American Sociological Conference (ALAS 2026)
Dr Zsögön was also invited to participate in a roundtable organised by the Research Group on Decolonising Education, led by Prof. Danielle Bastos Lopes. Her presentation focused on the challenges of implementing legal frameworks and protecting human rights in the border regions of Latin America, highlighting the gap between international legal standards and local realities.

Library Launches a New Book Locker Service
The Main Library of the Maria Grzegorzewska University has launched a new service for the Academy community. From now on, books ordered through the Library catalogue can be collected from a self-service book locker , including outside the Library’s opening hours.
Two New Research Laboratories Opened at the Academy
We are pleased to announce the launch of two new research laboratories equipped with one-way observation mirrors at the Academy: the Child Research Laboratory and the Group Research Laboratory .
