How to connect Compabase to Claude Code

Compabase gives Claude Code read-only access to data on 3M+ Polish companies from the KRS and CEIDG registers (financial statements, management and owners, public tenders, insolvency and sanctions records).

Server URL

https://compabase.com/api/mcp/connect

When the client asks you to sign in, the Compabase page opens: sign in to your Compabase account and click Allow. The client then receives its own access token.

Steps

  1. Add the server:
claude mcp add --transport http compabase https://compabase.com/api/mcp/connect
  2. In Claude Code run /mcp, select compabase and choose Authenticate; sign in to Compabase in the browser and click Allow.
  3. Or install it as a plugin, which adds a skill with the recommended workflow:
    /plugin marketplace add ContentWriterco/Compabase-MCP
    /plugin install compabase@compabase-plugins

Cost and access

You need a Compabase account; the free plan includes a monthly allowance of MCP queries and paid plans raise it. You sign in once in the OAuth window; no API key to copy. Prefer a static key? Create an MCP key at https://compabase.com/integrations?tab=mcp and send it as Authorization: Bearer mcpk_… to https://compabase.com/api/mcp.

All tools are read-only. See the MCP documentation for every tool, or the GitHub repository.
