Overview
Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – Krakowski Instytut Technologiczny was created in 2020 from the merger of Kraków institutes focused on foundry work and advanced manufacturing, and in 2023 it was joined by the Institute of Medical Technology and Apparatus from Zabrze. The institute conducts research and develops technologies for the automotive, aerospace, foundry, tooling, energy and medical industries. It also produces medical devices for cardiology, obstetrics and cardiac rehabilitation, plus machines and equipment for production automation in the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics and food sectors.
