This subclass includes:
- extraction, preliminary dressing and cutting of monumental and building stone (for example marble, granite, sandstone),
- splitting and crushing of monumental and building stone,
- extraction, crushing and grinding of limestone rock,
- extraction of gypsum and anhydrite,
- extraction of chalk and unburnt dolomite,
- production of granules, chippings and powder from quarried stone, with or without heat treatment.
