Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment (PKD division 25)
This division includes:
- the production of products made entirely of metal (for example parts, containers, structures), usually of a static and immovable nature, as opposed to the products of divisions 26 to 30 covering the production of metal products joined or assembled (sometimes with other materials) into more complex products which - unless they are exclusively electrical, electronic or optical - contain moving parts,
- the production of products from composite materials in which metals predominate,
- the production of weapons and ammunition.
This division excludes:
- specialised repair and maintenance of finished metal products, machinery and equipment, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 33.1
- specialised installation of finished products covered by this division in buildings (for example central heating boilers), classified in 43.22.Z.
