This division includes:

  • creating advertising campaigns and placing such advertisements in magazines, newspapers, radio, television, the Internet or other media, as well as designing advertising spaces and displays; these advertising activities are often provided through advertising agencies and media representatives,
  • market and opinion research (for example concerning the attitudes, values and behaviour of the population and various socio-demographic and socio-economic groups with respect to economic, social and political issues),
  • public relations and communication activities.

This division excludes:

  • the sale of advertising time or space directly by the owners of the time or space (for example publishers), classified in the relevant subclasses concerning their activities.
