Extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas (PKD division 06)
This division includes:
- mining of crude petroleum and natural gas,
- mining of crude petroleum from oil sand and bituminous shale deposits,
- drilling of wells and installation of well equipment,
- operation of separators, emulsion separators, desanding equipment,
- production of crude petroleum,
- production of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons,
- all other activities related to the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas carried out up to the point of transport from the extraction area.
This division excludes:
- prospecting, test drilling in connection with the extraction of crude petroleum or natural gas and crude petroleum and natural gas exploration activities, classified in 09.10.Z,
- service activities supporting the operation of crude petroleum and natural gas deposits, carried out on contract, classified in 09.10.Z,
- refining of petroleum products, classified in 19.20.Z,
- geophysical, geological and seismic surveys, classified in 71.12.B.
