Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (PKD division 26)

This division includes the manufacture of computers, peripheral equipment for computers, communications equipment and similar electronic equipment, as well as the manufacture of components thereof. The production processes in this division are characterized by the design and use of integrated circuits and the application of highly specialized miniaturization technologies. This division also includes the manufacture of consumer electronics, measuring, testing and navigation and radiological equipment, electromedical and electrotherapeutic equipment, optical instruments and equipment, as well as the manufacture of magnetic and optical media. This division does not include the manufacture of wires for electronic use and fibre-optic cables, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 27.
