Fishing and aquaculture (PKD division 03)
This division includes:
- fishing in marine and inland waters, including the maintenance of fish, crustacean, mollusc and other aquatic animal and organism stocks,
- the breeding and raising of fish and other aquatic products and organisms (for example aquatic plants, pearls, sponges) in marine and inland waters,
- services related to marine fishing, freshwater fishing or aquaculture.
This division excludes:
- activities of factory ships not carrying out fishing (engaged solely in processing and preserving) or onshore plants processing fish, crustaceans and molluscs, classified in 10.20.Z,
- the building and repair of ships and boats, classified in 30.11.Z, 30.13.Z, 33.15.Z, 33.18.Z,
- activities related to sport and recreational fishing, classified in 93.19.Z.
