Warehousing and support activities for transportation (PKD division 52)

This division covers warehousing and support activities for transportation, such as activities related to transport infrastructure (for example, the operation of airports, seaports, tunnels and bridges). This division also includes activities of transport agencies and cargo handling. The activities listed are carried out on a contract basis. Where related services are provided by the same enterprise solely in support of its own transport activities, they then constitute ancillary transport activities, and the enterprise is classified in the appropriate subclasses of section H.
