This division includes:
- preparation and spinning of textile fibres,
- production of textiles,
- production of weft knit fabrics,
- production of non-wovens,
- production of other technical and industrial textile articles,
- finishing of textiles and clothing,
- production of other made-up textile articles (for example bed linen, blankets, carpets, cordage articles, rigging and similar products), excluding clothing.
This division excludes:
- cultivation of fibre crops, classified in the relevant subclasses of section 01,
- production of clothing, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 14,
- production of chemical fibres (synthetic and artificial), classified in 20.60.Z.
