Activities of membership organisations (PKD division 94)
This division includes:
- activities of organisations whose members represent the interests of certain social groups or promote various ideas among the general public. The activities of these organisations may also benefit persons who are not their members. The division of this section is determined by the objectives served by the activities of these organisations, namely the interests of employers, self-employed persons and scientific communities (relevant subclasses of group 94.1), the interests of employees (relevant subclasses of group 94.2), and the promotion of religious, political, cultural, educational or recreational activities (relevant subclasses of group 94.9).
This division excludes:
- economic activities carried out by membership organisations, classified in the relevant subclasses of this classification (for example, in the field of education - relevant subclasses of section Q, and in the field of health care - relevant subclasses of section R).
