This subclass includes:

  • the manufacture of labels from paper or cardboard,
    • the manufacture of paper and cardboard filters,
    • the manufacture of cigarette paper,
    • the manufacture of bobbins, spools, caps and the like from paper and cardboard,
    • the manufacture of egg trays and other moulded or pressed packaging articles from cellulose mass,
    • the manufacture of paper ornaments and souvenirs,
    • the manufacture of paper and cardboard cards used in Jacquard machines.

This subclass excludes:

  • the printing of labels, where not part of the production process, classified in 18.12.Z,
    • the manufacture of playing cards, classified in 32.40.Z,
    • the manufacture of paper and cardboard games and toys, classified in 32.40.Z,
    • the publishing of books, newspapers and other publishing activities, excluding software publishing, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 58.1.
