Sewerage (PKD 37.00.Z)
This subclass includes:
- operation of sewage treatment systems for reuse (for example agricultural, industrial waters, water from road cleaning or collected rainwater); for artificial recharge, replenishment of groundwater reservoirs,
- collection and transport of sewage from users (for example households, industrial business entities),
- collection and transport of rainwater by means of sewer networks, collectors, tanks and other means of transport (for example vacuum tanker vehicles),
- maintenance and cleaning of sewerage and drainage systems, including pipe clearing,
- freeze-drying (lyophilisation) of sewage sludge in sewage treatment plants,
- emptying and cleaning of cesspools, septic tanks, pits and putrefaction tanks of sewage,
- maintenance of chemical toilets.
This subclass excludes:
- further processing of sludge extracted from sewage, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 38:
- decontamination of surface water and groundwater at the place of contamination, classified in 39.00.Z,
- construction or repair of sewer systems, classified in 42.21.Z,
- cleaning and unblocking of water and sewage installations in buildings, classified in 43.22.Z,
- rental of portable toilets, classified in 77.39.Z.
