This subclass includes industrial catering, that is, the preparation and supply of food provided under a contract concluded with a client, for a specified period. In addition, this subclass includes the operation of food concessions (for example, provided in sports facilities and similar venues). Food may be prepared directly at a location designated by the client or in central units.
This subclass includes:
- the preparation and supply of food under a contract (for example for transport companies),
- the operation of canteens and cafeterias (for example in industrial establishments, offices, hospitals or schools) under a concession.
This subclass excludes:
- the production of perishable prepared food, classified in 10.89.D,
- the retail sale of perishable prepared food, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 47.2.
