This subclass includes:
- radio broadcasting of sound signals by broadcasting studios and systems for sound programme transmission
- on-demand distribution of sound recordings by streaming or download, not related to their publishing
- live podcast broadcasting
- activities of radio stations, that is, scheduling and broadcasting sound programmes by radio, cable or satellite
- radio broadcasting over the Internet (internet radio stations)
- broadcasting of radio programmes and simultaneous filming for video transmission.
This subclass excludes:
- wholesale of sound recordings on information media, classified in 46.49.Z,
- retail sale of sound recordings on information media, classified in 47.69.C,
- publishing of audiobooks together with streaming and downloading services provided by book publishers, classified in 58.11.Z,
- publishing of music and other sound recordings together with streaming and downloading services by their publishers, classified in 59.20.Z,
- production of radio programmes and audio podcasts, classified in 59.20.Z,
- provision of technical infrastructure related to audio streaming without acquisition of rights to audio content, classified in 63.10.D. subscription-based and distribution of video recordings
