This subclass includes other programming activities, such as:
- designing the structure and content, writing, modifying (including updates and fixes), testing and maintaining software and applications, including:
- system software,
- business and financial applications,
- machine learning applications,
- artificial intelligence / machine vision applications,
- cybersecurity applications,
- applications using distributed databases,
- databases and websites,
- adapting software, that is, modifying and configuring an existing application so that it is functional in the client's IT systems environment,
- application development.
This subclass excludes:
- publishing activities relating to software, including operating systems, business and financial technology software and applications, and computer games, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 58.2
- development of software related to publishing, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 58.2
- operation of websites with online games / computer games, classified in 60.39.Z
- planning and designing computer systems that integrate computer hardware, software and communications technologies, even if software provision may be an integral part thereof, classified in 62.20.B
- data processing (for example using blockchain / distributed ledger technology (DLT)), classified in 63.10.D
- operation of gambling websites, classified in 92.00.Z
- repair and maintenance of computers and (tele)communications equipment, classified in 95.10.Z. managing IT equipment
