This subclass includes:
- advice on the security of property and persons,
- operation of emergency call centres or alarm receiving centres (ARCs),
- security services involving the operation and monitoring of electronic security systems (for example burglar alarms, video surveillance systems and fire alarms),
- security services involving the operation and monitoring of mechanical or electronic locking devices, safes and vaults,
- installation and maintenance of electronic security systems (for example burglary or theft alarms, video surveillance systems and fire alarms), where provided together with their subsequent operation and monitoring,
- installation, repair, modification and adaptation of mechanical or electronic locking devices, electronic security systems, safes and vaults, where provided together with their subsequent operation and monitoring.
This subclass excludes:
- installation of security systems (for example burglary alarms, surveillance systems and fire alarms), without their subsequent operation and monitoring, classified in 43.21.Z,
- retail sale of alarm systems, mechanical or electronic locking devices, safes and vaults, without their subsequent operation, installation or maintenance, classified in 47.52.Z
- cybersecurity advice, classified in 62.20.A
- public order and safety activities (for example police activities), classified in 84.24.Z
- key cutting, classified in 95.29.Z.
