Landscape service activities (PKD 81.30.Z)
This subclass includes:
- planting, care and maintenance of parks and gardens:
- at private houses and multi-family houses,
- at public and semi-public buildings (schools, hospitals, administrative buildings, churches and the like),
- in urban areas (city parks, green zones, cemeteries and the like),
- at industrial and commercial buildings,
- planting, care and maintenance of greenery for:
- roads (for example motorways, streets), railways and tramways, banks of waterways, in ports,
- buildings (green walls, rooftop gardens and greenery inside buildings and the like),
- sports grounds (football pitches, golf courses and the like), areas intended for outdoor games and play and other recreational areas (for example lawns intended for sunbathing),
- standing and flowing waters (water reservoirs, marshes, ponds, bathing pools, moats, streams, brooks, rivers, sewage treatment systems)
- development of green areas and planting for protection against noise, wind, erosion, glare or to improve visibility
- protection and restoration of the natural landscape (for example parks, gardens)
- ecological engineering works for the protection of areas
- restoration of the natural environment (for example vegetation engineering works, renaturalisation of ecosystems and the like)
- activities related to erosion control in mountain areas, spawning grounds and river banks
- creation and relocation of species habitats (for example nesting boxes, shelters, wintering sites)
- prevention, control and response to the intrusion and spread of invasive species in fauna or flora
- environmental management (for example carrying out protective and maintenance measures on dunes, heathlands, wetlands or other sensitive areas, ecological pastures).
This subclass excludes:
- protection or reclamation of agricultural and forestry land, classified in the appropriate subclasses of sections 01 and 02,
- cultivation and planting for sale of plants, trees, classified in the appropriate subclasses of sections 01 and 02,
- plant nurseries, including forest nurseries, classified in 01.30.Z, 02.10.Z,
- maintenance of agricultural land in good ecological condition, classified in 01.61.Z,
- restoration of marine ecosystems, classified in 03.30.Z,
- construction activities for landscape design, classified in the appropriate subclasses of section F,
- landscape architecture and design activities, classified in 71.11.Z,
- activities of national parks, nature reserves and the like, including their maintenance and upkeep, classified in 91.42.Z.
