Other social work activities without accommodation n.e.c. (PKD 88.99.Z)
This subclass includes the activities of counselling centres, shelters, special assistance and other non-residential social work provided to individuals and families in their homes or elsewhere, carried out by public administration institutions, organisations providing assistance to victims of natural disasters, organisations operating nationwide or locally, including private organisations, and by counselling specialists. These activities are carried out, among others, through:
- social work and counselling for children and young people,
- adoption-related services,
- preventive activities against violence towards children and other such activities,
- consultations and advice related to household budget planning, the activities of marital and family counselling centres, counselling on taking out loans and repaying debts,
- local and neighbourhood social work,
- activities consisting in providing assistance to victims of natural disasters, disasters, refugees, immigrants and similar persons
- activities related to vocational adjustment of unemployed persons, provided that the educational factor in this type of activity is present only to a limited extent
- activities consisting in determining whether applicants for support meet the conditions required for the granting of financial or in-kind assistance
- day centres for homeless persons and other persons in need of assistance
- activities consisting in fund-raising or other forms of financial support within social assistance,
- activities in the field of cultural and intercultural mediation aimed at assisting adults experiencing difficulties in social integration and labour-market integration, removing the social marginalisation of children and young people, restoring normal functioning of adults and juveniles held in detention facilities, or on parole and outside detention facilities, and reintegrating excluded adults into active life,
- resettlement activities for refugees.
