This subclass includes:
- support activities for performing arts in the production of live stage presentations (for example theatrical, concert, opera, dance and other stage productions):
- activities of producers, set designers, lighting technicians and the like,
- organisation of cultural and entertainment events (for example film festivals, music and dance festivals),
- activities of directors, dramaturgs, film promoters and programme creators,
- activities of producers or promoters in relation to live artistic events,
- technical planning, supply, setup and operation of audiovisual equipment and special effects related to the organisation of live artistic events.
This subclass excludes:
- film production (including digital distribution) intended for direct projection in cinemas or for broadcasting or streaming, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 59.1,
- broadcasting of live performances and events, classified in 60.20.Z,
- activities of agents or artistic agencies acting on behalf of individual artists, classified in 74.99.Z,
- activities of casting offices and agencies, classified in 78.10.Z,
- activities related to the organisation of fairs, exhibitions and congresses, classified in 82.30.Z,
- activities of performance groups and independent performers, classified in 90.20.C,
- activities of producers or promoters of sporting events, with or without their own facilities, classified in 93.19.Z,
- technical planning, supply, installation and operation of audiovisual equipment and special effects related to the organisation of events other than artistic events, classified in 93.29.A, 93.29.B.
