This subclass includes:

the manufacture of military weapons (for example artillery weapons, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, grenade launchers, torpedo tubes and similar launchers, machine guns),
the manufacture of pistols, shotguns and rifles, including spring, pneumatic, gas-operated and similar types,
the manufacture of combat ammunition,
the manufacture of cartridges for shotguns, revolvers and pistols,
the manufacture of bombs, grenades, torpedoes, mines, missiles and similar war munitions,
the manufacture of hunting, sporting and defensive weapons and ammunition.

This subclass excludes:

the manufacture of percussion caps, detonators or signalling flares, classified in 20.59.Z,
the manufacture of sabres, épées, rapiers, bayonets and similar items, classified in 25.61.Z,
the manufacture of optical sighting equipment, classified in 26.70.Z,
the manufacture of bodies for armoured vehicles, classified in 29.20.Z,
the manufacture of military ships and vessels, classified in 30.13.Z,
the manufacture of military aircraft and spacecraft, classified in 30.32.Z,
the manufacture of tanks and other armoured and motorised combat vehicles, classified in 30.40.Z.
