This subclass includes:
- manufacture of civil vessels (excluding sports and recreational boats) and floating structures:
- passenger ships, ferries, merchant ships, tankers, tugs,
- fishing vessels, fishing boats, factory ships and other vessels for processing or preserving fishery products,
- hovercraft, except hovercraft intended for recreational purposes,
- floating or submersible drilling platforms,
- manufacture of floating craft, for example:
- floating docks, pontoons, caissons, floating piers, buoys, floats, barges, lightships, floating cranes, inflatable rafts intended for purposes other than recreation and the like,
- manufacture of sections for vessels and floating structures,
- manufacture of underwater drones,
- factory conversion of vessels,
- installation of technical interior equipment of vessels.
This subclass excludes:
- manufacture of parts of vessels, other than basic hull assemblies:
- manufacture of navigational instruments, classified in 26.51.Z,
- manufacture of lighting equipment for vessels, classified in 27.40.Z,
- factory overhauls of engines for civil vessels and boats, classified in 28.11.Z,
- manufacture of amphibious motor vehicles, classified in 29.10.E, 30.40.Z,
- manufacture of inflatable boats and rafts, recreational or sporting, classified in 30.12.Z,
- manufacture of yachts, classified in 30.12.Z,
- building of warships and naval vessels, classified in 30.13.Z,
- specialised repair and maintenance of civil vessels and other floating structures, classified in 33.15.Z,
- dismantling of vessels, classified in 38.21.Z,
- carrying out internal installations (other than technical) in vessels and boats, classified in the appropriate subclasses of group 43.3.
