This subclass includes the repair and maintenance of industrial and commercial machinery and equipment and their accessories (for example, sharpening or replacing machine and saw blades); repair by welding of components (for example, automotive or general-purpose components), repair of agricultural machinery and other heavy and industrial machinery and equipment (for example, fork-lift trucks and other materials handling equipment, machine tools, refrigeration equipment, construction equipment and mining machinery), including machinery and equipment covered by division 28.
This subclass includes:
- the repair and maintenance of engines, excluding aircraft engines, for motor vehicles, ships and boats,
- the repair and maintenance of railway engines,
- the repair and maintenance of pumps, compressors and their equipment,
- the repair and maintenance of hydraulic machinery,
- the repair of valves,
- the repair of transmission components and drive components,
- the repair and maintenance of furnaces for industrial processes,
- the repair and maintenance of lifting and handling equipment,
- the repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment and air purification equipment,
- the repair and maintenance of industrial general-purpose machinery,
- the repair and maintenance of hand-held power tools,
- the repair and maintenance of metal cutting and shaping machine tools and their accessories,
- the repair and maintenance of other machine tools,
- the repair and maintenance of agricultural and forestry tractors,
- the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery, forestry machinery and log preparation machinery,
- the repair and maintenance of metallurgical machinery,
- the repair and maintenance of mining, construction, oil and gas extraction machinery,
- the repair and maintenance of machinery for food and tobacco processing and beverage production,
- the repair and maintenance of machinery for the manufacture of textile and leather clothing,
- the repair and maintenance of machinery for paper production,
- the repair and maintenance of machinery for the manufacture of plastics and rubber,
- the repair and maintenance of other specialised machinery classified in the relevant subclasses of division 28,
- the repair and maintenance of weighing equipment,
- the repair and maintenance of vending machines,
- the repair and maintenance of cash registers,
- the repair and maintenance of photocopiers,
- the repair of calculators, including electronic ones,
- the repair of typewriters.
This subclass excludes:
- the repair and maintenance of engines for civil ships and boats classified in 33.15.Z,
- the repair and maintenance of engines for civil aircraft classified in 33.16.Z,
- the repair and maintenance of engines for military fighting vehicles, vessels, boats, ships, aircraft and spacecraft classified in 33.18.Z,
- the installation, repair and maintenance of industrial furnaces and other heating equipment classified in 43.22.Z,
- the installation, repair and maintenance of lifts and escalators classified in 43.24.Z,
- the repair and maintenance of computers classified in 95.10.Z,
- the repair and maintenance of engines for motor vehicles (excluding motorcycles) classified in 95.31.A.
