This subclass includes:
- repair and maintenance of measuring, testing, navigational and control instruments covered by group 26.5, for example:
- aircraft engine instruments,
- motor vehicle exhaust emission measuring instruments,
- meteorological instruments,
- instruments for testing and checking physical, electrical and chemical properties,
- geodetic instruments,
- radiation detection and monitoring instruments,
- repair and maintenance of irradiating, electromedical and electrotherapeutic equipment covered by subclass 26.60.Z, for example:
- magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment,
- medical ultrasound equipment,
- pacemakers,
- hearing aids,
- electrocardiographs,
- electromedical endoscopic equipment,
- irradiating equipment,
- repair of optical instruments and equipment covered by subclass 26.70.Z (if they are used primarily for commercial purposes), for example:
- binoculars,
- microscopes (excluding electron and proton microscopes),
- telescopes,
- prisms,
- lenses (excluding lenses for ophthalmic use),
- photographic equipment.
This subclass excludes:
- repair and maintenance of photocopiers, classified in 33.12.Z,
- repair and maintenance of computers and peripheral equipment, classified in 95.10.Z,
- repair and maintenance of computer projectors, classified in 95.10.Z,
- repair and maintenance of (tele)communication equipment, classified in 95.10.Z,
- repair and maintenance of professional television and video cameras, classified in 95.10.Z,
- repair of domestic-use video cameras, classified in 95.21.Z,
- repair of watches and clocks, classified in 95.25.Z.
