Storage of electricity (PKD 35.16.Z)
This subclass includes:
- -conversion of electricity into another form, storage of such energy and subsequent reconversion into electricity (for example operation of pumped-storage power plants, compressed air storage facilities or battery storage facilities)
- distribution of stored electricity to the electric grid.
This subclass excludes:
- generation of electricity not resulting from storage, classified in 35.11.Z, 35.12.A, 35.12.B, 35.12.C, 35.12.D, 35.12.E, 35.12.F. gaseous in the network system
- This group includes: - production, storage and distribution of natural gas or other gaseous fuels to the user by a network system.
- This group does not include: - mining of natural gas, classified in 06.20.Z
- activities of brokers and agents organising the sale of gaseous fuels through distribution systems operated by other economic entities, classified in 35.40.Z
- transport of gas by transmission pipelines connecting producers with gas distributors or between urban agglomerations, classified in 49.50.A.
