This subclass includes:
- financial service activities mainly consisting in intermediation in incurring liabilities in forms other than cash, deposits or close substitutes for deposits, where the granting of credit may take various forms (for example loans, mortgage loans, credit card loans), in the course of which the following are carried out:
- granting of consumer credit by non-depository institutions,
- financing of international trade,
- provision of long-term financing for industrial activities,
- para-banking activities, outside the banking system, in cooperation with a licensed bank,
- granting of money loans outside the banking system,
- granting of credit (for example housing loans) by specialised non-depository institutions,
- securitisation of credits and loans,
- factoring and supply chain finance activities.
This subclass excludes:
- granting of credit by specialised deposit-taking institutions, classified in 64.19.Z,
- financial leasing, classified in 64.91.Z,
- pawnshop activities, classified in 64.92.A,
- securitisation of assets other than credits and loans, classified in 64.99.Z,
- operating leasing, depending on the type of leased goods, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 77,
- activities related to the granting of subsidies by membership organisations, classified in 94.99.Z.
