This subclass includes:
- other financial service activities mainly relating to the distribution of financial resources, by means other than the granting of loans:
- issuing swaps, options and entering into hedging transactions,
- activities of entities that buy life insurance policies and realise their profit upon the death of the seller,
- investment and trading activities on own account (through, for example, venture capital companies, investment clubs),
- acting as counterparty for the purposes of clearing and settlement of transactions,
- investment activities on financial markets on own account,
- trading in receivables on own account,
- activities of entities, acting on own account, engaging in securities and derivatives transactions,
- activities of special purpose financial companies other than those relating to securitisation,
- securitisation transactions of assets other than credits and loans through the issue of financial instruments,
- trading in swaps or options on own account,
- trading in commodity contracts on own account,
- issuance of crypto-assets with a corresponding liability (not carried out by monetary authorities),
- trading in crypto-assets with a corresponding liability on own account,
- exchange of currency on own account.
This subclass excludes:
- issuance of crypto-assets without a corresponding liability (not carried out by a monetary authority), classified in 63.10.D,
- financial leasing, classified in 64.91.Z,
- securitisation of credits and loans, classified in 64.92.B,
- trading in securities and exchange-traded commodities on behalf of other persons (brokerage activities), classified in 66.12.Z,
- exchange of currencies for a fee (for example, currency exchange offices), classified in 66.12.Z,
- intermediation in the trading of crypto-assets with liabilities qualifying as securities, classified in 66.12.Z,
- intermediation concerning mortgage loans, classified in 66.19.Z,
- management of investment funds, classified in 66.30.Z,
- sale, leasing and rental of real estate, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 68,
- collection of claims without assumption of debts, classified in 82.91.Z,
- granting of subsidies by membership organisations, classified in 94.99.Z.
