Manufacture of electronic components (PKD 26.11.Z)
This subclass includes the manufacture of semiconductors and other electronic components:
- electronic capacitors,
- electronic resistors,
- microprocessors,
- vacuum tubes,
- cables, including cables for printers, monitors and USB,
- bare printed circuit boards consisting solely of conductive elements and contacts,
- integrated circuits (analogue, digital, hybrid),
- diodes, transistors and similar discrete devices,
- electronic inductors (for example chokes, coils, transformers),
- electronic crystals and crystal assemblies,
- solenoids, switches, transducers for electronic applications,
- dice or wafers made of chemical elements (for example silicon), selectively doped or diffused to form discrete substrates for use in electronics,
- monitor elements (plasma, polymer, liquid crystal (LCD)),
- light-emitting diodes (LEDs),
- photovoltaic cells, modules and panels.
This subclass excludes:
- printing of smart cards, classified in 18.12.Z,
- manufacture of assembled electronic printed circuit boards consisting of conductive elements, contacts and other passive elements, classified in 26.12.Z,
- manufacture of computer and television monitors, classified in 26.20.Z, 26.40.Z,
- manufacture of modems (transmission equipment), classified in 26.30.Z,
- manufacture of X-ray tubes and similar irradiation equipment, classified in 26.60.Z,
- manufacture of optical instruments and equipment, classified in 26.70.Z,
- manufacture of similar equipment for electrical applications, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 27,
- manufacture of fluorescent ballasts, classified in 27.11.Z,
- manufacture of photoelectric generators (photovoltaic installations) that can be used directly to power, for example, a motor or electrolyser, classified in 27.11.Z,
- manufacture of electrical relays, classified in 27.12.Z,
- manufacture of installation equipment, classified in 27.33.Z,
- manufacture of insulated electric wires assembled together and fitted with connectors, classified in 27.90.Z,
- manufacture of solar water heaters, classified in 28.21.Z,
- installation of solar panels, classified in 43.21.Z,
- installation of solar heating systems, classified in 43.22.Z.
