Mixed farming (PKD 01.50.Z)
This subclass includes agricultural holdings carrying out both crop and animal production simultaneously, without specialisation of production towards crop cultivation or animal breeding and rearing. The size of agricultural production is not a decisive factor. However, if the degree of specialisation of production in one field amounts to 66% or more, the activity of the economic entity should not be classified in this subclass, but in crop cultivation or animal breeding and rearing
This subclass excludes:
- activities of economic entities engaged mainly in crop cultivation, classified in the relevant subclasses of groups 01.1 and 01.2,
- activities of economic entities engaged mainly in animal breeding and rearing, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 01.4.
- This group includes: - service activities usually provided on a fee or contract basis, related to agriculture, but not undertaken for production purposes (in the sense of harvesting agricultural products)
- post-harvest activities intended to prepare agricultural products for the primary market.
