This subclass includes:
- natural gas extraction,
- liquefaction of natural gas,
- removal and separation of liquid hydrocarbon fractions,
- desulphurisation of natural gas,
- extraction of methane from coal mines,
- extraction of liquid hydrocarbons by liquefaction or pyrolysis,
- fracturing for the extraction of gas from coal seams.
This subclass excludes:
- carrying out exploration works for oil and natural gas deposits and service activities supporting the exploitation of oil and natural gas deposits, classified in 09.10.Z
- manufacture of petroleum refining products and semi-products, classified in 19.20.Z
- production of liquefied natural gas from petroleum, classified in 19.20.Z
- manufacture of industrial gases, classified in 20.11.Z
- pipeline transport, classified in 49.50.A, 49.50.B.
